Description
Ply3 is an original material and construction system developed through the reconfiguration of plywood. The project explores the layered structure that is usually hidden within plywood, bringing it to the surface and enlarging it into a new architectural scale. Rather than serving as a concealed construction material, plywood becomes the primary visual and structural language of the object. By transforming the relationship between surface, structure, and form, Ply3 proposes a new way of reading and experiencing a familiar material. The result is not only a series of furniture pieces, but also an exploration of how everyday materials can generate new spatial possibilities.

summary
Inspired by the striped texture of woven fabric, Cush Cush began with the image of soft cushions casually stacked on the floor. Although they appear textile-like, the stools are made entirely from Ply3, an original plywood material and construction system to explore plywood in three-dimensional form. Cush Cush is an invitation to slow down, take a seat and rest for a moment, or perhaps two.
